Sensex recovers early losses; HLL spurts

After touching a low of 10,665, the Sensex rebounded into the positive zone to touch a high of 10,770. The index is now flat at 10,744.

HLL has spurted 1.4% to Rs 235. NTPC and BHEL are up over 1% each at Rs 117 and Rs 2,068, respectively.

Reliance and Ranbaxy are the other prominent gainers among the index stocks.

Reliance Communications has slipped over 1% to Rs 259. Maruti and HDFC Bank are down 1% each at Rs 779 and Rs 788, respectively.
