Sensex recovers, now flat; HDFC weak

The NSE Nifty is down seven points at 5,075.

Bharti Airtel has surged 2.3% to Rs 847. Larsen & Toubro and DLF have moved up 1.5% each  to Rs 2,930 and Rs 653, respectively.

Ranbaxy is up 1% at Rs 475.

HDFC has shed 1.4% at Rs 2,682.

HDFC Bank, BHEL, and ACC have slipped over 1% each to Rs 1,490, Rs 1,740 and Rs 735, respectively.

Hindustan Unilever and Maruti are also down 1% each at Rs 248 and Rs 763, respectively.
