Sensex recovers partially; Wipro, RCom up 1%

The Sensex has recovered partially from the day's low of 14,715, and is now down 143 points at 14,802.

Sterlite has plunged 4.7% to Rs 593. Tata Motors has tumbled 4% to Rs 419.

Tata Power has shed 2.7% at Rs 1,071. BHEL and ICICI Bank have dropped over 2% each to Rs 1,749 and Rs 706, respectively.

DLF, Reliance and Mahindra & Mahindra have slipped around 1.5% each to Rs 504, Rs 2,100 and Rs 582, respectively.

SBI, Jaiprakash Associates and NTPC have declined nearly 1.5% each to Rs 1,569, Rs 171 and Rs 179, respectively.

Larsen & Toubro, HDFC and Satyam are down 1% each at Rs 2,706, Rs 2,351 and Rs 425, respectively.

 

Wipro and Reliance Communications (RCom) are up nearly 1% each at Rs 438 and Rs 402, respectively.
