Sensex slips into red, down 77pts

The NSE Nifty is down 14 points at 5,098.

Wipro has shed 2% at Rs 457. Larsen & Toubro, Infosys and SBI have slipped 1.3% each to Rs 2,932, Rs 1,665 and Rs 1,728, respectively.

BHEL and ITC are down over 1% each at Rs 1,845 and Rs 210, respectively.

Bharti Airtel has surged over 2% to Rs 946.
