Sensex up 104pts; Tata Steel still weak

The Sensex is now up 104 points at 14,195.

Reliance Energy has rallied 2.5% to Rs 527. Gujarat Ambuja, Tata Motors, Wipro and Bharti Airtel have advanced over 2% each to Rs 140, Rs 897, Rs 626 and Rs 722, respectively.

ACC and ITC have moved up 1.7% each to Rs 1,039 and Rs 177, respectively.

ONGC, SBI and Reliance Communications are the other major gainers.

Tata Steel has shed 1.6% to Rs 456.

Out of 2,582 stocks traded so far, 1,301 have advanced, 1,229 have declined and 52 are unchanged.
