Sensex up 3pts

The Sensex is now up only three points at 7,814.

ONGC is still up Rs 12 at Rs 1,000. Reliance and HLL are marginally higher at Rs 711 and Rs 169, respectively.

Ranbaxy is still up 1.8% (Rs 9) at Rs 531. TCS, Satyam, ACC, Gujarat Ambuja, Bharti and HDFC are also trading with gains.

BHEL has dropped 1.6% (Rs 17) to Rs 1,076. Grasim is down over a per cent (Rs 14) at Rs 1,293. Hindalco, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank and Tata Power are also trading with losses.

Reliance is the most active counter with a turnover of Rs 72 crore followed by Tata Steel (Rs 55 crore), Sterlite Opticals (Rs 45 crore), VSNL (Rs 39 crore) and Reliance Capital (Rs 33 crore).
