Sharekhan to open T'puram branch soon

Stock broking firm Sharekhan plans to open a full-fledged branch in Thiruvananthapuram soon.

The company, which currently operates 30 offices in the state, aims at catering to the growing investors in the Kerala capital by unveiling its next branch here.

Revealing plans to open a Thiruvananthapuram branch, a company source said here that "Kerala at present has as many as 1.54 lakh accounts, and is constantly growing. The state is one of the most important markets for us."

After consolidating its presence with 510 outlets all over the country, Sharekhan is now looking seriously at the Kerala market.
