Steel prices remain steady in quiet trade

Steady conditions developed in the local steel market today, as steel traded in a range-bound fashion on the absence of worthwhile activity, and prices settled around previous levels.  

Traders said restricted buying against adequate stocks positions kept steel prices around previous levels.
