Stock broking community needs IT security

| Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), in association with Microsoft organised a seminar on Saturday on 'Secure IT Environment for Foolproof Securities Trading'. |
| The seminar discussed the need for strong security management practice for the Stock broking community and emphasised upon the fact that NSE has made it mandatory to have half-yearly IT compliance audit by the stock brokers and submit the system audit certificate duly obtained from a person holding certificate from CISA /CISSP/ISA on half yearly basis. |
| The seminar also focussed on the advantages of use of genuine softwares. |
| Prominent speakers included Suresh Balasubramanian, Manager-Business Development of Microsoft, Keshav Samant, AVP-Project Network Consulting group, Financial Technologies, G M Shenoy, senior VP of NSE.IT Ltd and Sanjay Shah, CEO of Skelta Software, shared their experience while emphasizing upon the important aspects like regular compliance audit on IT infrastructure. |
