Strong growth boosts Larsen & Toubro

Shares of India's largest engineering and construction company Larsen & Toubro hit a record high of Rs 4,300. Taking a cue from strong results and buying in capital goods stocks, the scrip closed with a gain of 10.33 per cent at Rs 4,277.

The volumes jumped to 11.14 lakh shares as against the two week average of 4.94 lakh shares. The stock has gained 38.08 per cent in last one week and 52 per cent in a month.
