Sugar closes quiet on scattered trading

Steady conditions prevailed in the national capital today following adequate stocks position against scattered buying activities. 

Marketmen said scattered buying interest and sufficient availability of stocks, held sugar prices around overnight levels.

Following are today's rates in Rs per quintal: 

Sugar ready M-30 2,840-2,940 and S-30 2,830-2,930
Mill delivery M-30 2,640-2,740 and S-30 2,630-2,730. 

Sugar mill gate prices (excluding duty): Kinonni 2,720, Asmoli 2,730, Mawana 2,700, Titabi 2,690, Thanabhavan 2,685, Budhana 2,680 and Dorala 2,695.
