Total market turnover on Aug 21 at Rs 1.61 lakh crore

F&O turnover on BSE down over Rs 10,000 crore compared to Friday

The total market turnover on both the Bombay Stock Exchange and National Stock Exchange was Rs 1,60,722 crore (Rs 1.61 trillion) on Tuesday.

On the Bombay Stock Exchange, turnover in the cash segment amounted to Rs 1,931 crore while the derivatives segment registered a turnover of Rs 47,133 crore.

On the National Stock Exchange, turnover in the cash segment was Rs 9,334 crore while the turnover in the derivatives segment was Rs 1,02,324 crore.
