11 killed in suicide bomb attack at Baghdad Mosque

At least 11 people were killed and 20 others wounded in a suicide bomb attack at a Shiite mosque here in Iraq.

According to police sources, a suicide bomber detonated an explosive vest yesterday at the entrance of Ahlu al-Baiyt mosque, in Baghdad's al-Obeidi district.

The toll could rise further as ambulances and other emergency vehicles rushed to the scene. Islamic State militant group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
