29,000 students from Pakistan help break world record for largest human flag

29,000 students from Pakistan helped the country reclaim the record for building the largest human flag on Saturday.

The world record was observed during the Punjab Youth Festival in Lahore, where the students formed the largest human flag with an intention to break the previous record held by Bangladesh. The earlier feat of 27,170 people forming the national flag in Dhaka was broken by 29,000 students in Lahore, Pakistan, the Nation reported.

The record was certified by a representative of the Guiness Book of World Records.
