Apple to introduce new measures to prevent iCloud hacks

Tech giant Apple will soon introduce new techniques to protect users' information and prevent hacking on iPad, iPhone and Mac whereby they will be notified when iCloud data is restored, passwords are changed or a new device logs into an account for the first time, said the company's CEO Tim Cook.

The users would be notified via emails and push messages on mobile devices when any changes are made to their accounts, reported the Verge.

Cook's statement came after hundreds of nude photos of celebrities including Jennifer Lawrence and Ariana Grande were hacked through Apple's iCloud services.

Apple has denied that information is accessible through security flaws but claimed that stars were specifically targetted by hackers.

The announcement of the reforms comes as both FBI and Apple are busy investigating into the leak.
