ASI, woman shot dead in Rohini; probe underway

An Assistant Sub-Inspector of the Delhi Police and a lady were shot dead by unknown assailants in Rohini this morning.

The Assistant Sub-Inspector identified as Jogendra Lakda was posted with the Crime Branch. The identity of the woman is yet to be ascertained.

The bodies of the duo were found in a real estate dealer's office in the area. As per post-mortem report, the woman was shot thrice whereas the ASI was shot five times.

The police have launched preliminary investigation into the matter.
