Bradley Cooper nearly played Christian Bale's role in their upcoming film 'American Hustle'.
The 38-year-old American actor revealed that he had almost swapped roles with the 39-year-old English actor in the film directed by David O. Russell as the 'Dark Knight Rises' star was unavailable to shoot, PVR Pictures reported.
'American Hustle' starring Christian Bale, Bradley Cooper, Amy Adams and Jennifer Lawrence follows the story of a brilliant con man who along with his seductive British partner is forced to work for a wild FBI agent, Richie DiMaso taking them into a world of Jersey power-brokers and mafia.
