Calista Flockhart is making a TV comeback with with a co-starring in the CBS pilot 'Supergirl.'
The 50-year-old 'Ally McBeal and Brothers and Sisters' star will play the role Kara's boss Cat Grant opposite Melissa Benoist in the Warner Bros. TV project, which is based on the DC Comics characters, Deadline.com reported.
The show by studio-based Berlanti Prods. and writers/executive producers Greg Berlanti and Ali Adler, centers on Krypton-born Kara Zor-El (Benoist), who even since her arrival on Earth, has been hiding the powers she shares with her famous cousin, Superman. But now at age 24, she decides to embrace her superhuman abilities and be the hero she always was meant to be.
