At least two District Reserve Group (DRG) personnel were injured after an encounter broke out between security forces and Naxals in Bijapur on Sunday.
The encounter took place at 10 a.m. in Timarpur jungles under Bijapur District in Chhattisgarh between Naxals and a joint team of 204 Cobra (CRPF) and DRG (Chhattisgarh Police).
As per information, the injured jawans are being evacuated by helicopters. Search operation is currently underway.
