German midfielder Christoph Kramer has admitted that he cannot remember his performance in the World Cup final against Argentina because of the concussion he suffered during the game.

Kramer, 23, was named as a late replacement for Sami Khedira, but his World Cup final appearance was marred by a smashed into Argentine footballer Ezequiel Garay's shoulder in the 19th minute, reports the BBC.

Kramer received lengthy treatment for the head injury, but despite carrying on, was eventually taken off for Andre Schurrle just over 10 minutes later.

He has now revealed that he has no recollection of the first-half of the final, with his memory of Germany's World Cup winning triumph only beginning in the second period.
