Reigning world champion Lewis Hamilton on Saturday emerged as the fastest driver in the final practice session of the European Grand Prix on the Baku street circuit.
The three-time world champion recorded the fastest time, edging past his Mercedes teammate and current leader Nico Rosberg by a quarter of a second, Sport24 reported.
Nico Hulkenberg of Force India finished third ahead of Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo, while four-time champion Sebastian Vettel was fifth.
The session ended with a big crash for Force India's Sergio Perez, who hit the wall at turn 15, just as Ricciardo had on Friday.
Hamilton slashed down Rosberg's lead in the Formula One world championship from 24 to nine points after winning the Canadian Grand Prix last week.
