Phillip Seymour Hoffman had reportedly told his friends that he knows he is going to die six week before his death from an apparent drug overdose.

Sources have revealed that the 'Hunger Game' had started injecting himself with heroine and had spent more than 6,000 pounds on drugs, the Daily Star reported.

Insiders said that when someone asked the 46-year-old how bad his drug problem was, he had said that if he doesn't stop he knows he won't live.

It was earlier reported that cops had discovered 70 bags of heroin and 20 needles along with five different prescription drugs which included bupren-orphine, in his luxury pad.

Hoffman was found dead in his New York apartment from an apparent drug overdose as he was discovered by his personal assistant with a needle in his arm.
