Indian-born father who tricked Melbourne woman into having sex by pretending to be blonde avoids jail

An Indian-born man in Australia narrowly escaped being jailed after he tricked a Melbourne woman into having sex with him by pretending to be a blond Caucasian.
According to News.com.au, Deepak Dhankar, a father of three, used photos of a muscular, blond stranger and adopted the name "Jamie" for a dating profile he used to arrange a tryst with the woman.
A financial planner by profession, Dhankar created a profile on an online dating site in 2012 after his wife took ill post delivering the third baby.
A sexually frustrated Dhankar began exchanging explicit photos with the Melbourne woman in October the same year. Later the two reportedly decided to meet at the woman's place for a sexual liaison, and as planned, the woman lay naked and facedown on the bed while she waited for Dhankar to enter her house and her bedroom.
The woman had apparently agreed to Dhankar's condition that she would keep her eyes shut during the escapade and that they would engage in role-playing where "Jamie" would be the dominant partner while she would be the submissive one.

However, in between, she left to tend to her crying child and when she returned she saw Dhankar's hand and realized that she had been fooled, but decided to play along as she was scared that it may end badly.
The woman told the court that the incident left her feeling violated.
The judge hearing the case handed out a two-year order to Dhankar which required him to perform 200 hours of community service.
Judge Patrick told Dhankar, 29, it was a serious matter to obtain access to another person's body by deception and had he not pleaded guilty she would have jailed him, the report added.
