Joan Rivers' surgery clinic under investigation

The clinic where the late comedienne Joan Rivers underwent throat surgery before her death is now being investigated.

According to the reports the Yorkville Endoscopy in New York City has fallen under the scrutiny of the State Health Department, who revealed to ABC News that its investigators had visited their premises.

The comedienne died in the city's Mount Sinai Hospital aged 81, a week after suffering a cardiac arrest during the procedure.
