Leading Indian Angel investor makes first investment in UK startup SwiftShift

The Indian Angel Network (IAN) has reportedly made its first investment in UK startup SwiftShift.

With over 250 investors spread across 10 countries, the IAN is Asia's largest angel network.

According to Tech Crunch, the Indian Angel Network decided to invest in SwiftShift following a pitching session in London organized by UKTI, where seven companies presented to the investors.

The UK startup company apparently allows companies to quickly fill short-notice shifts using their own staff through SMS, email, and mobile technology

Meanwhile, the IAN has previously invested in startups in the US, Canada, France, Hong Kong, Singapore, Sri Lanka and India.
