Levi Johnston files for equal custody of son with Bristol Palin

Bristol Palin's former fiance, Levi Johnston, has recently filed a petition seeking equal custody of his son, it has been revealed.

According to a new court filing Johnston has requested to have as much time with his son, Tripp, as the 4-year-old's mother does, Us Magazine reported.

The couple, who had their son in 2008, parted ways in August 2010.
