Locals in Patna resorted to spend the night in the S.K. Children's Park in the wake of the massive earthquake that struck parts of northern India and Nepal.
The authorities ordered for the park to be open all night so that locals could find refuge in the open children's park.
"The authorities have ordered us to keep the park open all night because of the earthquake. We are here for their security," M.K. Verma, a police officer told ANI.
"The park will be open all night. Usually, it shuts at 8 P.M., but it will be open all night because of the earthquake," said Pradeep Kumar, a staff member of the park authorities.
