Manish Tewari appointed as AICC spokesperson

Congress President Sonia Gandhi on Thursday approved the appointment of Manish Tewari as the spokesperson of the All India Congress Committee.

Tewari has served as the Union Minister of State (Independent charge), Minister of Information and Broadcasting under the UPA regime.

He is a lawyer by qualification and has practised in the Supreme Court of India as well as the Delhi High Court.
