Michelle Obama gives White House family dining room 'bold' makeover

Michelle Obama has refurbished the old family dining room of White House in modern style, which is the private dinning room of the First family.

The First lady's redecoration was bold and colorful including a custom-made carpet, based on a 1950 weaving by Anni Albers and paintings by Alma Thomas, Stuff.co.nz reported.

The gray colored walls of the dinning hall have now been painted into the golden yellow color, reflecting Obamas' tastes.

The visitors to the White House recently saw a side of the mansion that has been always kept hidden from public view.
