Delhi Police Commissioner B.S. Bassi urged people not to misuse the exemption of 'medical emergency' when the Odd-Even formula would be in place.
"DP urges people not to misuse the exemption no. 23 - medical emergency - of the Odd Even Notification. Be truthful while claiming it. Thanks," he said in a tweet.
Bassi also added that the Odd-Even notification levied a fine of Rs. 2000 under section 194(1) of the Motor Vehicles Act, compounding powers under section 200(1) of the Act.
He also urged the people to follow the norms.
