Officer suffers gunshot injury in Ladakh

An officer of the security forces deployed in the Pratap pur sector got injured after suffering a gunshot here on Friday.

"An officer deployed in the Pratappur sector suffered gun-shot wound at around 1050 hours today," said police.

The injured officer was immediately taken to the nearby military hospital and is presently under treatment, police said.

Further details of the incident are yet to be ascertained.
