Union Tribal Affairs Minister Jual Oram will inaugurate a week-long first National Tribal Festival "VANAJ" tomorrow at Central Park Connaught Place, New Delhi.
He will be accompanied by Minister of State for Tribal Affairs Mansukhbhai Dhanjibhi Vasava and senior officers of the ministry.
The festival will see the active participation of artistes from across the country.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been calling for improving the quality of tribal lives.
Residents of the national capital will also get an opportunity to enjoy and appreciate India's rich tribal culture and heritage.
Approximately 900 participants from Assam, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Nagaland, Odisha, Rajasthan, Sikkim, Tamil Nadu and West Bengal would be participating in the event.
