South Africa cricket legend Clive Rice would reportedly be travelling to India in the next few days to get a brain tumor removed after he collapsed at his home as a result of it.

It has been reportedly revealed that the former all-rounder collapsed over the weekend and after subsequent scans, it was found that the tumor is too deep down in his brain for a neurosurgeon to conduct invasive surgery to remove it.

And because of that the 65-year-old is travelling to India in the next few days to get it removed, Sport24 reported.

Rice's career coincided directly with South Africa's sporting isolation, and his international experience was limited to his post-prime days.

The former South Africa all-rounder played three ODIs following the country's return from sporting isolation against India in 1991, the report added.
