Police on Wednesday seized unaccounted money worth Rs 10 lakh here in two town police station ranges while Rs 2 lakh was found in one town police station range.
According to Sub-inspector Kalicharan, two motorcycles used for shifting the money were confiscated.
In another incident, the police caught 40 liquor bottles illegally stored in a house. One person was taken into custody regarding the matter.
Kalicharan informed that the money and liquor were caught in search operations of election flying squad officials and local police.
Polling in Andhra Pradesh will be held on April 11 for Lok Sabha and assembly constituencies simultaneously. Counting of votes will be held on May 23.
