British comedian and actor Sanjeev Bhaskar will be heading the cast of Anthony Horowitz's new political play 'Dinner With Saddam', which will be staged at the Menier Chocolate Factory in London in September.
'The Kumars at No. 42' star will be playing the role of a man who is forced to host Saddam Hussein at his house in Baghdad as the 2003 allied bombing campaign begins, the Guardian reported.
The 60-year-old English screenwriter, who is known for his Alex Rider book series of adventure novels, said that he didn't want to write about the horror of Iraq that's why he planned to cast a humorous light on the material.
Nathan Amzi, Ilan Goodman and Rebecca Grant will also appear in the production, which begins
on 22 September.
