Six people reportedly died during a knife attack in the southern part of China, local police said.
Five people were stabbed to death while the attacker was shot down by the police following a dispute between two vendors in Changsha, Hunan's provincial capital on Friday.
According to the BBC, a dispute erupted between two vendors, after which one killed the other with a knife and then stabbed four passersby.
The incident has come to light even as people in China are recovering from the shock of a recent stabbing spree in Yunnan province that left 29 people dead and 143 wounded.
Meanwhile, an unnamed official in Changsha assured that it was not a terror attack, saying that it happened in a market due to some dispute.
