US warplanes to fly from Iraqi base to conduct air strikes on ISIS: Report

Pentagon has reportedly said that the United States combat aircraft will soon start flying out of a base in the Kurdish region of northern Iraq as part of a military campaign to curb the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS).
Press secretary Rear Admiral John Kirby confirmed on Thursday that "armed and manned" US aircraft would start to fly from Arbil, capital of Iraq's autonomous Kurdish region, reported News 24.
