Alembic Pharmaceuticals consolidated net profit rises 81.40% in the March 2020 quarter

Sales rise 30.19% to Rs 1206.83 crore

Net profit of Alembic Pharmaceuticals rose 81.40% to Rs 224.93 crore in the quarter ended March 2020 as against Rs 124.00 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2019. Sales rose 30.19% to Rs 1206.83 crore in the quarter ended March 2020 as against Rs 926.95 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2019.

For the full year,net profit rose 41.88% to Rs 829.12 crore in the year ended March 2020 as against Rs 584.37 crore during the previous year ended March 2019. Sales rose 17.06% to Rs 4605.75 crore in the year ended March 2020 as against Rs 3934.68 crore during the previous year ended March 2019.
