APL Apollo Tubes standalone net profit declines 25.45% in the March 2018 quarter

Sales rise 47.01% to Rs 1221.29 crore

Net profit of APL Apollo Tubes declined 25.45% to Rs 23.82 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 31.95 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017. Sales rose 47.01% to Rs 1221.29 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 830.74 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017.

For the full year,net profit rose 27.59% to Rs 112.69 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 88.32 crore during the previous year ended March 2017. Sales rose 39.19% to Rs 4193.02 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 3012.46 crore during the previous year ended March 2017.
