Bengal & Assam Company standalone net profit declines 70.88% in the March 2021 quarter

Sales decline 59.03% to Rs 26.10 crore

Net profit of Bengal & Assam Company declined 70.88% to Rs 16.39 crore in the quarter ended March 2021 as against Rs 56.28 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2020. Sales declined 59.03% to Rs 26.10 crore in the quarter ended March 2021 as against Rs 63.71 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2020.

For the full year,net profit declined 81.45% to Rs 23.26 crore in the year ended March 2021 as against Rs 125.36 crore during the previous year ended March 2020. Sales declined 67.42% to Rs 57.19 crore in the year ended March 2021 as against Rs 175.55 crore during the previous year ended March 2020.
