CESC standalone net profit rises 0.68% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales rise 6.72% to Rs 1572.00 crore

Net profit of CESC rose 0.68% to Rs 295.00 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 293.00 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales rose 6.72% to Rs 1572.00 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 1473.00 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit rose 2.13% to Rs 863.00 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 845.00 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales rose 6.24% to Rs 7220.00 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 6796.00 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
