Consumer Durables shares fall
Consumer Durables stocks were trading in the negative zone, with the S&P BSE Consumer Durables index falling 266.11 points or 1.34% at 19635.73 at 13:53 IST.
Among the components of the S&P BSE Consumer Durables index, Titan Company Ltd (up 3.88%), Blue Star Ltd (up 1.39%), V I P Industries Ltd (up 1.16%), Symphony Ltd (up 0.73%), Orient Electric Ltd (up 0.16%), and Rajesh Exports Ltd (up 0.14%), were the top losers.
On the other hand, Crompton Greaves Consumer Electrical Ltd (up 5.05%), Whirlpool of India Ltd (up 1.33%), and Voltas Ltd (up 0.43%) moved up.
At 13:53 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 352.91 or 1.12% at 31732.46.
The Nifty 50 index was up 88.7 points or 0.97% at 9276.
The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 153.97 points or 1.45% at 10795.54.
The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was up 60.22 points or 1.61% at 3792.
On BSE,1431 shares were trading in green, 827 were trading in red and 167 were unchanged.
