Consumer Durables shares rise

Consumer Durables stocks were trading with gains, with the S&P BSE Consumer Durables index rising 171.16 points or 0.66% at 26039.08 at 09:49 IST.

Among the components of the S&P BSE Consumer Durables index, Orient Electric Ltd (up 4.91%), Voltas Ltd (up 1.45%), Crompton Greaves Consumer Electrical Ltd (up 1.14%), V I P Industries Ltd (up 0.99%), Titan Company Ltd (up 0.62%), and Rajesh Exports Ltd (up 0.2%), were the top gainers.

On the other hand, TTK Prestige Ltd (down 1.07%), Blue Star Ltd (down 0.71%), and Symphony Ltd (down 0.54%) moved lower.

At 09:49 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 75.19 or 0.18% at 40989.01.

 

The Nifty 50 index was up 14.9 points or 0.12% at 12050.7.

The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 0.35 points or 0% at 14704.31.

The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was down 3.14 points or 0.06% at 5047.83.

On BSE,811 shares were trading in green, 463 were trading in red and 66 were unchanged.
