Consumer Durables shares rise

Consumer Durables stocks were trading in the positive zone, with the S&P BSE Consumer Durables index rising 200.16 points or 0.74% at 27175.5 at 09:47 IST.

Among the components of the S&P BSE Consumer Durables index, Titan Company Ltd (up 1.23%), Bajaj Electricals Ltd (up 1.18%),Crompton Greaves Consumer Electrical Ltd (up 0.96%),Blue Star Ltd (up 0.89%),Metropolis Healthcare Ltd (up 0.68%), were the top gainers. Among the other gainers were TTK Prestige Ltd (up 0.57%), and Rajesh Exports Ltd (up 0.34%).

On the other hand, V I P Industries Ltd (down 1.01%), Voltas Ltd (down 0.19%), and Whirlpool of India Ltd (down 0.09%) moved lower.

 

At 09:47 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 1.76 or 0% at 38965.6.

The Nifty 50 index was up 0.5 points or 0% at 11588.85.

The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 13.3 points or 0.1% at 13203.67.

The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was down 2.4 points or 0.05% at 4505.66.

On BSE,721 shares were trading in green, 651 were trading in red and 57 were unchanged.
