Consumer Durables shares gain

Consumer Durables stocks were trading in the positive zone, with the S&P BSE Consumer Durables index rising 99.74 points or 0.38% at 26168.1 at 09:47 IST.

Among the components of the S&P BSE Consumer Durables index, V I P Industries Ltd (up 1.14%), Whirlpool of India Ltd (up 0.81%),Voltas Ltd (up 0.69%),Blue Star Ltd (up 0.57%),Crompton Greaves Consumer Electrical Ltd (up 0.56%), were the top gainers. Among the other gainers were Rajesh Exports Ltd (up 0.44%), Bajaj Electricals Ltd (up 0.43%), Titan Company Ltd (up 0.23%), Symphony Ltd (up 0.2%), and Metropolis Healthcare Ltd (up 0.02%).

On the other hand, TTK Prestige Ltd (down 0.29%), moved lower.

 

At 09:47 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 38.66 or 0.1% at 38637.65.

The Nifty 50 index was up 2.85 points or 0.02% at 11466.85.

The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 25.1 points or 0.2% at 12825.02.

The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was up 8.58 points or 0.2% at 4368.18.

On BSE,743 shares were trading in green, 613 were trading in red and 72 were unchanged.
