Consumer Durables shares rise
Consumer Durables stocks were trading with gains, with the S&P BSE Consumer Durables index rising 133.46 points or 0.52% at 26006.25 at 09:47 IST.
Among the components of the S&P BSE Consumer Durables index, Bajaj Electricals Ltd (up 1.68%), Voltas Ltd (up 1.57%),V I P Industries Ltd (up 0.95%),Whirlpool of India Ltd (up 0.93%),Rajesh Exports Ltd (up 0.82%), were the top gainers. Among the other gainers were TTK Prestige Ltd (up 0.77%), and Titan Company Ltd (up 0.54%).
On the other hand, Blue Star Ltd (down 1.56%), and Metropolis Healthcare Ltd (down 0.72%) moved lower.
At 09:47 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 18.64 or 0.05% at 38685.97.
The Nifty 50 index was up 24.05 points or 0.21% at 11498.5.
The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was down 12.98 points or 0.1% at 13157.78.
The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was down 5.41 points or 0.12% at 4428.12.
On BSE,789 shares were trading in green, 630 were trading in red and 69 were unchanged.
