Consumer Price Index Spikes Above 6%

India's consumer price index based inflation rose slightly to 6.07% in February 2022 from 6.01%in the previous month, data released by the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation showed today. The consumer food price index also edged up to 5.85% in February 2022 compared to 5.43% in previous month.
