Escorts standalone net profit rises 223.79% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales rise 29.64% to Rs 1022.31 crore

Net profit of Escorts rose 223.79% to Rs 59.48 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 18.37 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales rose 29.64% to Rs 1022.31 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 788.55 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit rose 91.57% to Rs 160.44 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 83.75 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales rose 21.58% to Rs 4093.16 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 3366.76 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
