Gujarat Alkalies & Chemicals ordered to pay penalty imposed by CCI

Vide Order issued on 04 December 2017 by NCLAT

Gujarat Alkalies & Chemicals announced that the Hon. National Company Law Appellate Tribunal, New Delhi vide order dated 04 December 2017 stayed the Order dated 05 October 2017 passed by Competition Commission of India (CCI). The NCLAT has ordered to deposit 10% of the penalty amount as determined in the Order passed by CCI.

The CCI has imposed a penalty of Rs 1.88 crore on the Company vide order dated 05 October 2017
