Information Technology stocks gain

Information Technology stocks were trading in green, with the S&P BSE IT Sector index increasing 112.12 points or 0.73% at 15481.22 at 09:47 IST.

Among the components of the S&P BSE IT Sector index, Expleo Solutions Ltd (up 3.02%), Tanla Solutions Ltd (up 2.67%),Ramco Systems Ltd (up 2.67%),Birlasoft Ltd (up 2.58%),CESC Ventures Ltd (up 2.39%), were the top gainers. Among the other gainers were Accelya Solutions India Ltd (up 2.18%), HCL Infosystems Ltd (up 2.05%), Sasken Technologies Ltd (up 2.03%), Mastek Ltd (up 1.88%), and Datamatics Global Services Ltd (up 1.82%).

On the other hand, AXISCADES Engineering Technologies Ltd (down 3.2%), Sonata Software Ltd (down 1.86%), and 3i Infotech Ltd (down 1.51%) turned lower.

 

At 09:47 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 191.4 or 0.5% at 38298.27.

The Nifty 50 index was up 46.2 points or 0.41% at 11360.2.

The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 19.81 points or 0.15% at 12929.99.

The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was up 11.02 points or 0.25% at 4359.59.

On BSE,851 shares were trading in green, 557 were trading in red and 63 were unchanged.
